Information technology, in all its “shapes and sizes”, fills modern life. All info tech, however, is but a tool. Each IT tool provides a means to a particular end. We each choose an end; we each can choose the corresponding tool.
The body of IT information is huge, complex, dynamic, and full of jargon. Some information is poor. “Techies” cannot communicate effectively, and those who can communicate effectively don’t know truly “tech”. The Sollinx IT community bridges between the two.
This community centers on IT for consumers. Content threads are: hardware (the silicon, plastic, and copper), applications and other software, communication, and security. We combine theory and practice, to help members understand the “why” and “how”.
Wise individuals want to know how to use their IT tools most effectively. We help Sollinx IT community members to choose good tools and to use them effectively.
